We hope that 2020 has started well for you. For us, this month has marked our first year of FM Future and in light of this, we have developed a new brand image, identity and message which seems even more relevant today. Our image of the lighthouse in stormy weather is our icon and aligns with our mission to help our strategic clients with guidance to success through effective communication, storytelling and thought leadership.
With this in mind, we invite you to attend our first FuturePrint Webinar on 2 April. By adding the discount code Future20 you will receive a complimentary pass so please register now! We only have a limited number left. We will cover the results from our survey as well as featuring insights from an expert panel.
In January, we launched the results from the Future of Inkjet Survey and Report in partnership with Ricoh. If you would like a copy of the report please download here. This report draws upon findings from a survey conducted in August and September with 129 respondents. The results reveal a positive market that is high in confidence and expectation of how inkjet will transform markets. In addition to this, it also provides signposts of future challenges and insights as to why inkjet may be taking longer than expected to enter new industrial segments in any major way.
Our work with our strategic partner Ricoh is gathering pace and on 23-24 September we host the first Ricoh Inkjet Generation Summit which brings together innovators and leaders for a thought-provoking programme and insightful chance to discover more about Ricoh’s work with some of their partners who have successfully developed new inkjet projects in decor and textile.
Meanwhile, FuturePrint continues to grow in both readers and in value and Karis Copp has joined us to help to continue to develop compelling content. FuturePrint has the aim of connecting innovative printing tech with new marketplaces. You’ll note that now we have a number of Tech Partners who are utilising the growing platform for this purpose.
And on 30th April we will be hosting our first FuturePrint Partner meeting and dinner at Sidney Sussex College in Cambridge. If you would be interested in attending or you have an interesting story to tell and would like to share your insight on FuturePrint, then get involved by emailing me.
Looking ahead to 2021, we are really happy to be continuing to work collaboratively with the InPrint Show team and additionally, we will be delivering some content at Sign and Digital UK in April.
Nicola Macdonald, ex-Editor of Exhibition News is joining us to help develop Event LaunchPad. This new initiative is designed to help people leverage the opportunity that events present. We want to ignite ideas and bring new business to life through the inspiring opportunities that effective events can deliver. We launched this formally on 26th February at International Confex in London and received some great feedback and will run taster sessions on 6th May at Farnborough International Centre and on 19th May NEAC Stoneleigh, UK. If you are interested in joining us at either of these events then let us know we would be happy to extend a free place.
In addition to this, we will also host a special Event LaunchPad Webinar on 23 April. Register with this free code Launch20 and here is the link.
2020 will be a big year for print tech, events and business generally - particularly given the challenges that we all face. So if you’d like to get involved with FM Future or with any of our products, workshops, events and services in any way, then please do not hesitate to contact us marcus.timson@fmfuturenow.com
Have a great 2020!
